I offer a range of print finishes, from traditional matt and gloss photographic paper to fine art giclee papers, and also an environmentally friendly bamboo option. When selecting the size of print you require in the gallery shop you will also be able to select the paper type. The basic prices quoted cover matt and gloss papers, and there is an additional cost stated for giclee papers. Other finishes are available so drop me a message if you'd like something different.
Canvases are also available - see below, and contact me for full details.
UK Postage is charged at a flat rate for one or more prints up to A1 size.
Canvas postage will be based on the order details and is normally free for UK orders over £50.
Overseas orders would be considered but please contact me first so we can confirm shipping and any import tax costs.
The classic style of print finish using Fuji Crystal Archive Professional DPII 230gsm lustre paper. It's matt surface means the light won’t reflect and obscure the image and it retains its colour to create beautiful, vibrant images. Coated with a slightly stippled texture, Lustre prints are very resistant to fingerprints, scratches and scuffs and feature a semi-matt finish with minimal glare.
An ideal cost effective choice, and I use this lustre option for the majority of the work I print and sell directly.
Fuji Crystal Archive Professional DPII 240gsm gloss paper gives a bright and vibrant look and the reflective finish presents images in stunning definition. The glossy finish is especially suited for black and white photographs with fantastic contrast. The glossy effect also brings about impressive spatial depth.
Giclee - Smooth
Fuji Photo Rag 310gsm is a cotton-based paper with a smooth texture matt coating and slightly yellow hue. It passes the Blue Wool Scale image permanence test as required by the Fine Art trade Guild for giclee prints. This is a traditional mould-made 100% rag paper with a special matt coating
Giclee - Textured
Fujifilm Museum Rough 300gsm is a cotton-based paper with a rough textured surface. It features natural white tones and has excellent image stability. Perfect for fine art images.
Giclee - Baryta
Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta surface is a glossy bright white heavyweight paper of 325 gsm. The surface is characterised by an extremely high colour density, image sharpness and tonal nuances. Compared to Photo Rag, it is a great alternative if you want a reflective gloss effect and is perfectly suited for black-and-white images.
Giclee - Bamboo
Hahnemühle Bamboo 290gsm is made from 90% bamboo fibres and 10% cotton, providing a natural environmentally friendly paper choicee with a soft touch texture. The natural white, warm toned bamboo paper does not contain optimal brighteners, standing out due to its light textured felt structure. The premium matt coating delivers excellent print results, particularly when using warm hues and in monochrome prints. Bamboo is acid and lignum free, making it extremely age resistant.
Canvases can be exceptionally expensive to produce and ship, so I have looked for cost effective solutions. At the moment I'd therefore prefer to quote directly based on your requirements rather than offer fixed prices online, but a standard canvas would have a 2cm deep frame with white or black edging. UK Prices would start at typically £25 for a small canvas, and for orders over £50 I can usually offer free postage on canvases. Drop me a message if you are interested in canvases - I can order them up to 120cm wide and there are options for heavier frames and finishes.
